Dear Parents,

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with blessings, fabulous food and family. I had the opportunity to take a trip to California with my husband and two of our daughters. California wasn’t very sunny with all the rain we experienced, but it was a great time all the same.

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our 5th graders who had a very successful Wax Museum activity today. It is always exciting to see them come dressed up and prepared to share. It was great having their posters up in the hallways for a couple of days to read and enjoy.

Dear Parents,

Happy Monday to you all! I hope you had a great weekend and that you have had the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful weather we are having.

It has been a wonderful Veteran’s Day at Brookside Elementary. Our Veteran’s Day Assembly is one of my favorites. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about the sacrifices that are made for freedom and for students to show their appreciation to those who have made the sacrifices. It was a great experience.

Monday Message For October 1, 2019

Dear Parents,

Sorry that the Monday Message is actually a Tuesday Message this week. I was out sick yesterday so I am in the process of playing catch up. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you so much for supporting our “No Screen Week” last week. The PTA is requesting that all the yellow slips be brought in tomorrow. So if your students have not already turned their sheets in, please encourage them to bring them in tomorrow. We appreciate the work of the PTA in bringing us “No Screen Week”!
