Hello Tigers!

This is our last Monday Message for the year.  Before I begin with the information for the week I would like to thank you for a wonderful year.  Brookside is a great place to learn and we are grateful to have the opportunity to teach your children.

Thank you for all your support last week:

• Author’s Party was well attended.  It is so fun to see how excited your children get to have you in the school.  Thanks to the PTA for sponsoring a special day!
• We exceeded, by far, our goal to help Mr. Gappmayer’s son.  In one week our school raised well over $1500.  The school and community did something incredible for a sweet little 2 year old boy.  Thank you!

Our PTA Field Day (Water Day) has been postponed until Wednesday.  With the rain and cool temperatures we decided to wait until it was dry and 82 degrees.  Please plan to wear clothing that can get wet on Wednesday.

We will be handing out yearbooks to those that purchased them on Wednesday afternoon.  Student will have time to sign yearbooks or other autograph books that afternoon.

Please remember to help with the following:

• Lunch money-please keep accounts in the positive.  If students do not have money in the account we will give them a roll and milk. 
• Return all books-library, Take Home Library, classroom libraries, etc.  If we do not have a book from your child we will send a reminder and also call.

6^th grade will have a field trip on Thursday and their program on Friday at 9:30.  Students may go home with parents after their program.

Friday is the last day of school.  Please be aware that school gets out at 12:00.  We will serve an early lunch or your child can bring one from home.
