Dear Parents,
Here are just a couple of reminders as we head into the weekend. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to our PTA for organizing this opportunity to thank and show our appreciation for Brookside’s teachers and staff members. We would love to share out all the great things students do to celebrate their teachers on social media. You can share out on instagram - @brookside.tigers or email Susie Bird (susan.bird [at] nebo.edu (susan[dot]bird[at]nebo[dot]edu)) and she will get it posted. We would love students to share out and connect in this way. I have attached a flyer with the daily themes or you can visit Brookside’s website for the information. Thank you!
We will also be returning student belongings on the 12th and 13th.

8:30 AM-10:30 AM Fourth and Fifth Grade
12:30 PM-2:30 PM Sixth Grade
Please remember to enter the bus zone on the West side of the building. We will have teachers and staff members positioned along the bus zone. Please see the May 4th Monday Message for more detailed instructions. We are excited to see everyone!
Today I came across this saying and it seemed to be very fitting for this time and the situation we find ourselves.

This is a difficult time and I hope you are able to find some “silver linings”. Please know how much we appreciate you and the opportunity we have to work as a team for the betterment of our students.
