In December, Mrs. Beckert talked with the students about gratitude in our Tiger Pride Assembly. During that assembly, she gave the students a gratitude challenge. The first and second graders drew a picture about what they were thankful for. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders wrote three things they were grateful for each school day of January. Each day, Mrs. Beckert talked about gratitude on the announcements, each teacher shared three things they were grateful for and two students also shared. This was a great experience, focusing on things that we are grateful for whether they be big or small, we all have so much in our lives.
