Dear Parents,
It has been a wonderful start to the new school year! It is great to be back together as a staff and with the students. We are all trying to adjust to the COVID-19 protocols and we realize that it is going to take some time. Protocols are being followed and we are doing our best to stay healthy. Thank you for all your support and patience!
Here are just a few reminders as we head into the new week:
Students are welcome to bring birthday treats for their classmates on their birthday. Please make sure each treat is manufacturally, individually, wrapped. Thank you!
For families who qualified for free or reduced lunch this past year, you can apply to receive a reimbursement from the state for the time they were out of school from March to May. Brookside PTA is holding our first meeting of the year this Wednesday, Aug 26th at 10 AM. For social distancing purposes, our meetings will be held via Zoom this year. Everyone is invited to attend, whether you decide to join the PTA or not. In this meeting we will go over our calendar of events for the year, as well as vote on and approve our annual budget. The meeting should last approximately 30 minutes. Zoom details are below. We hope to see you there!
