PTA Looking For Volunteers For Next Years Board

Brookside PTA can't run without volunteers. Do you know someone who would do an amazing job on our PTA board next year? Please nominate them for a position using this form   

When you nominate someone, it doesn't mean they will automatically be on the board. It just gives their name to the nominating committee for consideration. We would love for each PTA member to think of at least ONE person to nominate. It can be a parent who has been helpful in your classroom this year or in years past, an awesome neighbor, or you can even nominate yourself! Please take 2 minutes to think of someone and submit their name on the form.  We also need 5 volunteers for our nominating committee. Being on the nominating committee is very easy. Committee members will meet together once or twice in person or via Zoom to go through all the candidates whose names were nominated. They will discuss nominees and reach out to them to see if they'd be willing to serve next year. Once the nominating committee has found candidates willing to serve, they will be presented in the general membership meeting in February. Voting for board members will take place in the March meeting. Nominating committee members CANNOT be considered for a position on the board next year, so if you don't want to be on the board next year then please volunteer to be on our nominating committee!
