It’s teacher Tuesday and our teacher this week is Mrs. Miranda Graves. Mrs. Graves is one of third grade teachers. She is an amazing teacher. She is creative, artistic and a Disney lover! We are so lucky to have Mrs. Graves teaching our third graders.
What do you love to do on the weekend? love to go on adventures with my girls
If you could have Lunch with a fictional character, who would it be? Merlin
Who was your favorite teacher? Why? Ms. Moon because she made us Green Eggs and Ham in first grade.
If given $1000 - what would you buy? Disneyland passes
Who or what inspires you? People who do hard things inspire me. Positive people with great attitudes inspire me. People who don't give up inspire me.
Share a Memory of school: I remember silent reading in the loft. It was this cool area like the top bunk bed where you could go up a ladder and read with pillows and stuff if you earned the privilege. Wish I could have one in my own classroom! So cool!
What is your favorite thing to teach every year? I love teaching them to have a great attitude and to do hard things. I also love guided reading (Genre Activities)!
What is the best thing about your job? I love being around the incredible kids and seeing them keep working even when they are in THE PIT. I love watching them serve and love one another. I love seeing the light in their eyes when they finally get a concept we have been working on for a while.
