We have a fabulous new instructional coach with us this year. Mrs. Susan Jurkatis. Mrs. Jurkatis comes into all of our classrooms and helps us to teach our students many different reading and writing strategies. She shares books and activities with the students. And helps them to find the love of reading.
On the weekend, she loves to spend time with her grandson and family

Who was your favorite teacher and why? “My sixth grade teach, Mr. Clark. He shared his passion of music and filmmaking with us, and made learning so fun.”
If you were given $1000 - what would you buy? An Apple Watch
What song would you sing at Karaoke night? Vacation by the Gogos
Who or what inspires you? “My grandmother has always been my biggest inspiration. She always had time for me and other family members. She made going to her house a magical time by telling us stories, making our favorite foods, taking us to movies, and talking to us about things that were important to us.”
What is your favorite thing to teach every year? “To love reading!”
What is the best thing about your job? “I get to work with the best faculty and students.”
