Principal Beckert's Weekly Message

Dear Parents,

Here are a few reminders from our PTA:

​This is the last week of our Yearbook presale. Through Feb 28th yearbooks are $13. On March 1st the price goes up to $15. You can pay by cash or check at the school, or on Venmo @BrooksidespringvillePTA. Please include your student's name, grade and teacher with your payment. 

This week is also our PTA fundraiser. From Monday through Friday students are encouraged to read as many minutes as possible. Track your minutes on the fundraiser flyer that was sent home last week. 

Have family and friends to pledge money for you to do your very best reading. They can either pledge a flat donation (example: $25) or you could ask them to pledge based on the number of minutes you read (example: 25¢ per minute read). Collect the donations and turn them in on Monday March 1st with the form below. If they prefer to donate on Venmo @BrooksidespringvillePTA please put the student’s name, grade, and teacher so you can get credit for the donation.

There are lots of fun prizes to win, and every student is entered into the random drawing for some of the prizes. Other prizes will be awarded to top readers in each grade and class, and the top earner overall. 

Our 2020 fundraiser was cancelled due to COVID-19, so this is the only opportunity for Brookside PTA to raise funds for next year. All money goes directly to Brookside PTA to be used for school activities and programs like Ribbon Week, Field Day, No Screen Week, Teacher Appreciation, and much more! Donations are tax deductible.
