Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Mandy Knoebel

Submitted by susan.bird on

One of our new instructional technicians is Mrs. Mandy Knoebel.  Mrs. Knoebel works with students of all ages, helps in our lunch room and at recess.  We have the best tech around and Mrs. Knoebel is one of those amazing people.

On the weekend, Mrs. Knoebel loves to go out to eat.  I wonder what her favorite restaurant is.

If you could have lunch with any fictional character who would it be? Hermione Granger

Fourth Graders learn about Decimals

Submitted by susan.bird on

Today we started to learn about comparing decimals. Our student teacher, Miss Iverson, used visuals today to introduce this concept. This was more fun than just looking at problems in our math books.

Fourth Grade Mountain Man Visit

Submitted by susan.bird on

Yesterday, our fourth graders learned about the life of a mountain man in Utah in the 1800’s. We learned about catching beavers to make hats. Mr. Evans taught us how to set a beaver trap, use flint and steel to start a fire, and showed us tools and the wardrobe of a mountain man.
