Mrs. Tolley, our amazing art specialist, helped the students decorate the main hallway of the school.  It looks fantastic! Mrs. Pickering’s first grade class has been busy getting ready for the holidays. Over the last couple days they’ve been drawing, outlining, and watercoloring a picture of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The kids were so excited to break out the watercolors. To say they are excited for the upcoming holiday would be an understatement. Way to go Tigers!

Happy Monday, everyone! Here are just a few reminders for this week:

• Wednesday is our PTA meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Brunch at 10:00 in the Tiger’s Den.

• Our Christmas Choir Concert is Friday at 4:00 for our 4th-6th grade choir. They have been practicing and have prepared some fun songs to share.

The fifth graders are learning how to multiply decimals.  To make the task a little bit more enjoyable, the students made Santa beards.  They multiplied decimals, matched the problems to the solutions and then curled the ‘hair.’  The students loved making these beards. Bonus: their teachers could see how they did with this skill.
