Mrs.Bird’s first grade class had a fun week celebrating Dr. Seuss. The kids loved reading his books and doing activities after. On Friday we had a fun read-a-thon  camp out to show our love of reading.

All Nebo schools will be open on the regular schedule for Monday, March 6, 2023. We truly appreciate the city, county, state, and district personnel for their diligent work in our recent storm across our district. Please remember that school closures are rare. Mrs. LeAnn Andrews is one of the amazing teachers at Brookside, teaching some of our fourth graders.  She is in her 21st year of teaching.  She is an amazing mentor, coach, friend and teacher.

Today was the fifth graders 1000th day of school! We added up all the years they’ve been on school since kinder and it equals 1000 days. They participated in some fun 1000 themed activities and had a blast! They made chains with 1000 memories of school, tested if a sucker could take 1000 licks, planned a trip for just $1000, and recorded 1000 words we know. We are excited to see what the next 1000 days of school will bring!
