Reflections
We are so proud of all the students who entered our Reflections contest. The theme this year was "I am Hopeful Because..." Students were asked to interpret that phrase and create artwork in any style they choose. We had entries in 3D art, photography, dance, music, literature, and 2D art. All the students did an amazing job! Congratulations to all the winners!

Edible Utah Map
This year in social studies, our fourth graders learn about Utah and it's history. These past few days, we have been studying the regions of Utah and it's landscape. We have talked about mountains, rivers, plateaus, deserts and much more. To bring our learning to an end, students were able to create edible maps of Utah to show some of this features. Students were given a graham cracker, frosting, chocolate chips and licorice and they create Utah. Student had fun creating this and enjoyed the fruits of their labor.
Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
November 14th was Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. To celebrate this day our Student Council promoted this day and encouraged students to wear purple and walk to school to remember the important events and steps taken to end segregation in some US schools in the 1960s. Students were decked out in purple and had a chance to spin our prize wheel for some commemorative swag! Way to go student council!
