For Social Studies, our fifth graders study American history. Miss Bird’s class has been studying the thirteen original colonies and were assigned to research and learn about one of the colonies. The students worked hard to learn interesting facts about their colonies. Instead of a traditional report, the students were assigned to make a Colony Pillow illustrating the information that they found. The students did a great job, working hard and making their pillows.
