Our fifth graders went on a field trip to the Utah State Capitol Building. We were met by our Representative, Stephen L. Whyte. He talked to them about what he does there at the Capitol and answered some questions from the students. Then, we got to go up to the gallery, while the representatives were in session, and listen to a little business. Representative Whyte was able to recognize our fifth graders and they got to stand and wave. After that, we were able to explore the Capitol building and see all the cool architecture. The students were sad to leave and wished that they had some extra time to explore.
