Our fourth graders attended a performance of the Utah Symphony at Maple Mountain High School. We learned about different fairy tales and traveled the world listening to selections from a variety of tales. They started in Europe with selections from Beauty and the Beast. We moved to America and heard selection from Native American fairy tales. Then moved across the ocean and learned the story of 1001 Arabian Nights. Finally, ending back in Europe for the tale of the Nutcracker and some familiar classics. We are so grateful for this experience and being able to listen to the Utah Symphony.
