This week Mrs. Larsen's Kindergarten class has been learning about apples, the apple cycle, and Johnny Appleseed. They tried different kinds of apples and graphed that they like green and red apples the most. They also did a STEAM project: given an apple tree (toilet paper roll) and tree branches (green popsicle sticks), they had to build a tree that would keep up the apples (craft pom poms).
