Our fourth graders are studying place value in math. They are learning how to write the numbers in different ways, the value of different places in the number and what each number stands for. To review, the students were given a bag of Tootie Fruitie cereal. They sorted their cereal into different colors, created a large number then compared, found the value of numbers, wrote the number in different ways. At the end, the students were able to enjoy their hard work and eat their cereal.
