Dear Brookside Families,
During the last weeks we have had an increased number of problems with students using Smart watches during school hours. Use of these devices are fine before and after school, but if you need to contact your child during school hours, please contact the office and we will make sure your child receives any messages upon your request. I understand that there may be some situations with extenuating circumstances. If this is the case, please work with your child’s teacher to put a plan in place so everyone is aware. We are willing to work with you, but we need to make sure that the devices are being used appropriately. The policy for use of electronic devices will be followed if students choose to use their watches inappropriately during school. Thank you for understanding.
