Our new PE teacher, this year, is Mrs. Jenny McDonald. Mrs. McDonald jumped right into the thick of things, starting after the school year started and has done a wonderful job teaching our students new skills and games in PE. We are happy and excited to have Mrs. McDonald at Brookside.
Before coming to Brookside, Mrs. McDonald worked at the greenhouse up on the hill because she loves flowers and plants. She grew up on a farm of apple and cherry orchards in Washington state. She and her husband have one son and three daughters, six chickens, a rabbit and a dog named Harley. Outside of school, Mrs. McDonald loves to snow ski, garden and go hiking. She loves going on adventures and visiting new places.
What do you love about your job? “Spending time with the kids. They are fun! I love exercising and being healthy.”
That is something no one may know about you? “I have a twin brother.”
Is there anything else you would like parents and/or students to know about you? “I love staying busy and finding fun activities and games to play!”
