We are excited to welcome Mrs. Veronica Sundell to our Brookside. Veronica was hired in January to work with resource students in fifth and sixth grade.  This is her sixth year teaching in special education.

Name  - Veronica Sundell

Mrs. Sundell graduated from a private high school called Colegio Mexico in a little town in Mexico called Coatzacoalcos. After high school, she attended BYU where she received her bachelor’s degree in Geography. She then enrolled in SUU to complete her Special Education licensure courses. She is currently enrolled at UVU and expected to graduate with her master’s degree in Education this spring.

Veronica was born and raised in beautiful Mexico. She, her husband, and her 13 year old son enjoy spending time outdoors, theylove biking and going on walks together. Although she doesn’t like what the humidity does to her hair, her favorite place to be is the beach. She enjoys cooking, baking, and hosting gatherings with family and friends!

What are you looking forward to most about this school year? “Helping my students reach their full potential!”

What do you love about your job?  “I enjoy watching my students grow academically and socially throughout the school year. I feel pride in saying that I have a direct impact on the future of our society.”
