Our spotlight this week is our school nurse, Kirsten Weber. Ms. Weber joined our Brookside family at the end of last year and we couldn’t be luckier. She cares for the students when they come and visit her and is there when help is needed. We love having Ms. Weber at Brookside.
Kirsten Weber has been a school nurse for five years. She graduated from Springville High School, earned her RN from Snow College, and her BSN from Weber State University. She was an advanced EMT for 10 years before becoming a nurse.
Ms. Weber grew up in Springville and raised her two children in Richfield before moving back to Springville in 2016. She loves exploring the outdoors. She loves to travel, but her favorite place to be when not out exploring is home.
What are you looking forward to most about this school year? “I look forward to getting to know my co-workers better.”
What do you love about your job? “ Helping kiddos to be healthy and safe while at school.”

What is something no one may know about you? “I was a high school librarian for 13 years in Richfield before becoming a nurse.”
