Mrs. Natalie Miller

We are so excited to welcome our new Speech Language Pathologist, Mrs. Natalie Miller.  Mrs. Miller was recently hired to help our student with speech.  We are excited to have her here at Brookside and look forward to getting to know her.  Welcome to the Brookside family, Mrs. Miller.

Natalie graduated from Davis High School. She got my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Brigham Young University (BYU) and is completing her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in June 2023.

Mrs. Miller grew up in New Hampshire but moved to Kaysville, Utah in high school and graduated from Davis High. She met my husband at BYU while hiking a mountain. They will be married for two years this year! She loves to hike, to run half marathons/marathons, to travel, to do karaoke, and to play volleyball. Her favorite places to be are either on the beach or anywhere with lots of trees!

What are you looking forward to most about this school year? “I am looking forward to learning so much from the kids and my coworkers!”

What do you love about your job? “I love working with the kids! I get to help so many kids with their speech and/or language needs. My favorite thing is when a child is finally able to say his or her name after working on their sounds.”

Share your favorite quote.  “The rules for my classroom are, ‘Be kind. Be brave. Be awesome.’”

What is something no one may know about you? “I speak Albanian and lived in Albania for over a year.”

Is there anything else you would like parents and/or students to know about you? “I want the parents and students to know that I’m here for them. I am learning, I have a lot to learn, and I look forward to learning from parents and their kids. I will do everything I can to help these students!”
