Breanne Iverson is one of our fabulous second grade teachers. Miss Iverson is one of our amazing interns from UVU. She spent some time here last year in the UVU intern program learning from various teachers to help her in her journey in becoming a teacher. We are excited to have Miss Iverson here and are impressed with her talents and abilities working with her class.
On the weekend, Miss Iverson loves to hike. If you see her in the hallway, you will have to ask her if she has a favorite spot to hike.
If she could have lunch with a fictional character, she would choose. Hermione Granger.
One of Miss Iverson’s favorite teachers is her 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Bushman. She helped her grow her love of reading and helped her realize that she was good at it.
If she was given $1000, she would buy concert tickets (I wonder if she has a favorite singer she’d want to go see?). Or she would sign up for a race. Or maybe go on a trip.
What song would you sing at Karaoke night? Miss Iverson answered, “Cop Car” by Keith Urban
Memory of school: “In 5th grade, we had pet mice and we took care of them. We were in small groups, and each group had a mouse. One time, 2 or 3 of them got out at the same time and were running around the hallway. It was crazy trying to get them back!”
Best thing about your job? “I love how awesome my students are! I love talking to them and spending time with them.”
