Another new member of our second grade team is Ms. Sayde Swenson. This is Ms. Swenson’s intern year and is currently attending UVU to complete her teaching requirements. Mrs. Swenson is a great team member and teacher. We are excited to have her here at Brookside!
Sayde attended Payson High School and is attending UVU and will graduate in the spring upon completion of her year as an intern. She grew up in Santaquin. She has two little sisters. She loves to go swing dancing and loves to be up in the mountains.
- What are you looking forward to most about this school year? “Watching my students learn and grow.”
- What do you love about your job? “I love the silliness that comes with teaching 2nd grade.”
- Share your favorite quote. “Stop. Do not panic. Stay calm. We are trained professionals and we will go around the leaf. This is nothing compared to the twig of ‘93” - Bugs Life
- What is something no one may know about you? I clogged with Foothills through jr. high and high school. (Mr. Crockett and Ms. Swenson will get along very well. Hopefully, we will see them clog together?)
