We would like to welcome Ms. Syd Thomas to our Brookside family. Ms. Thomas is teaching some of our first graders and doing a fantastic job.
A few of the things that Ms. Thomas loves to do on the weekend: Swing dance, camp, sit around the campfire, hang out with friends, ride horses.
Her favorite teacher is her kindergarten teacher because she helped her to love school.

Who or what inspires you? Jesus... if that doesn't count, my Mom.
Share a memory of school: In 5th grade I got up the courage to join the school's turkey call competition. I won second in my grade! We may have to see and hear this turkey call at an assembly this year.
What is the best thing about your job? “The students and their sweet spirits and hearts.”
