I love being a principal! Do you know why? It's because of the children and their wonderful teachers. I love to drop-in on classes to see what they are doing and to share in their learning. Today I dropped in on Mrs. Pulley's AM class who were practicing writing the number 2. Mrs. Gallagher's class was writing in their journals about something they did this weekend. One boy went camping, another was writing about the lightening storm, a little girl wrote about playing soccer. In Miss Christensen's class she was reading aloud and working on vocabulary words from the story. Mrs. Hoffman's class was discovering words that contained the short a sound. Miss Packard's class was practicing writing the letter N in both upper and lower case. So much learning happens in the classroom every day. It's exciting!
