Outstanding Employee - Mrs. Valorie Seitz

We are so excited to present Mrs. Seitz with our Outstanding Certified Employee this year.  Mrs. Seitz is amazing!  She works in our skills room where she is working with all kinds of students.  She loves these kids and they all love her.  We take our projects to her to help us with and she completes them quickly and they always look amazing.  

Her daughter, and first grade teache, Lexi Hill said, "I have to admit, when I told my mom she should apply for this skills job at the school I worked at, I was worried that she would get the job and then everyone would love her more than me... which is exactly what happened! My mom is so deserving of this award. She truly loves the students here at Brookside and I can honestly say she cares about them as if they were her own children. There have been countless times that she will call me after school, just to talk about school and the kiddos she got to work with that day. Which says a lot about how much she cares about them. Whether it’s rescuing teachers from a student throwing chairs (if you know, you know), making copies and putting things together for teachers and staff, or bringing her teacher daughter a lunch when she forgets one, Mrs. Seitz has been such a great addition to our Brookside family!"
