Dear Parents,
We are ready to provide a plan for students to come and pick up
their belongings. We tried to take into consideration all the guidelines and variables involved.
We have been asked to create a plan that involves students and parents remaining in their cars to help us adhere to the social distancing guidelines. If students walk and come without a parent
they can still receive their belongings, they will just be encouraged to follow the guidelines.
Here is the schedule for Student Belonging Pick-up:
Tuesday, May 12
8:30 AM-10:30 AM -- Kindergarten and First Grade
12:30 PM-2:30 PM -- Second and Third Grade
Wednesday, May 13
8:30 AM-10:30 AM Fourth and Fifth Grade
12:30 PM-2:30 PM Sixth Grade
We will have teachers and staff members positioned along the bus zone on the west side of the building. We ask that cars enter the bus zone and stop to talk with the staff member positioned there. If you have several students in different grades and don't want to come during their designated time, you can notify that staff member when you pull up and they will send someone to gather their belongings from their classrooms. Teachers of the assigned grade levels will be positioned along the bus zone so you can drive up to the teacher and she/he will bring the belongings to the car.
School will continue until May 22. For this reason, computer devices that have been checked out from the school will not be collected until the week of Memorial Day. I will be communicating the procedure to return devices as we get closer to that time
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!
