We are so happy to welcome our new third grade teacher is Mrs. Julieta Flores. She brings a love of teaching, lots of ideas to share with her team and a love for her students. Welcome to Brookside, Mrs. Flores.
Mrs. Flores has been teaching for seven years. She graduated from Mountain View High School and UVU. She grew up in Argentina. Her family moved to the US when she was 11 years old. She didn't know any English so had to learn quickly. She is the oldest of 5 children. She has been married for 4 1/2 years and has a 1 year old son named Enzo. She and her husband love to watch movies, ride bikes, go out to eat and spend time with family and friends. She doesn’t have many hobbies but loves to do family history/genealogy.
What are you looking forward to most about this school year? “Getting to know the school, the staff and my students.”
What do you love about your job? “Working with kids, seeing their growth.”

What is something no one may know about you? “Before going into teaching I was studying to be a Spanish translator.”
