In assemblies on Friday, March 1, we had the opportunity to hear from a story teller. Kim Weitkamp, a professional storyteller, visited and shared her talent of singing, songwriting and storytelling. We want to thank Mrs. Miranda Graves for arranging this assembly. Thank you, Kim, for sharing your amazing talent with us!

Dear Parents,
In preparation for our Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA would like to reach out to all parents and give everyone a chance to be involved. This is a great way to show your appreciation for your child’s teacher. If you would like to volunteer to help decorate a teacher’s door or help with the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, please use the links below to sign-up. Thank you!
In fifth grade, we are learning about weathering and erosion. We did a simple experiment to see how water affects a skittle or an M&M. We learned that water will break down (weathering) the color and the letter on the piece of candy. Then it will be washed away (erosion) with the water.

We celebrated Who-Ville hair on Thursday, February 28, 2019. The halls at Brookside was filled with crasy and scary hair. It was fun to see all the creative and fun ideas. Mrs. Beckert even got in on the fun!
