Fifth Grade visited the state Capitol this week,

Students in Miss Bird’s fourth grade class became archaeologist for a day. Students were asked to fill a bag with artifacts from their lives that might describe who they are. Then students search through those bags, analyze the artifacts and to figure out who it belong to. After, we got to learn about students as they shared their artifacts and what they meant to them.

Fourth graders at Brookside Elementary were visited by Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. They were able to learn about adaptations in all living things. Our presenters taught about the types of environments we have in Utah and what animals can do to adapt to live in these different areas. They brought couple of animals with them that the kids were able to see and touch and learn about the types of snakes that live in Utah. Thank you @lovelandlivingplanet for visiting and teaching us.
