Brookside Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Evans

Congratulations to Kathleen Evans for being chosen by her colleagues as Brookside's Teacher of the Year! Many of you have experienced Mrs. Evans classroom and found it to be a place of joyful learning. Students thrive in a literacy enriched environment by one of the our best. She reads aloud and discusses the classics and practices poetry and other forms of writing. The best things about Mrs. Evans in my opinion is her good heart. She loves and cares about every one of her students long after they've gone on to other grades. We are so proud of Mrs. Evans and gladly recognize her for the wonderful teacher she is. If you see her in the hall, be sure to tell her you love her too!
