Firefighter Excitement happening in Kindergarten

 

Last week, Kindergarten learned all about Fire Safety from Full Time Lead Firefighter, Seth Mayberry.Firefighter Mayberry taught us that we should check our smoke detectors two times a year, in the Spring and in the Fall.  We also learned that we should talk to our families about having a special place to meet outside of our house in case of a fire.We got to see Firefighter Mayberry in all of his fire gear; and a few of us, including his son, Sawyer, even got to try on his helmet.  Boy, that thing was heavy!Thanks, Firefighter Seth Mayberry, for a fun and important lesson!
