It’s Teacher Tuesday and this week we spotlight another of our fabulous fourth grade teachers, Ms. Mary Jenn Bradford. Ms. Bradford has taught third grade here at Brookside for a few years and decided to change to fourth grade this year. Ms. Bradford is a fun and amazing teacher. We are lucky to have her here.
What do you love to do on the weekend: Golf and go to breakfast with my dad
Who was your favorite teacher? why? Mr. Bradford. 5th grade at Brockbank Elementary. He was actually my dad’s cousin and is the reason I’m a teacher. He had a way of teaching that was fun, made all of us laugh. He was big on self-esteem. Had a way of helping his students remember things (like multiplication facts!!!) :)
Who or what inspires you? “People who have overcome obstacles and who have contributed to the world in amazing ways.”
Share a memory of school: Lol....I was the 8th grade ping pong champ - So awesome!!! Who is wants to challenge Ms. Bradford?
What is your favorite thing to teach every year? Art and writing
What is the best thing about your job? “Watching a child’s smile and eyes light up when they learn something new.”
