Halloween

Submitted by susan.bird on

Halloween was so much fun at Brookside Elementary.  We started with the parade.  (You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IAcKV-WuIY&feature=youtu.be).  Our 6th graders performed Thriller (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6tvCgb-lgE&feature=youtu.be).  There were stories, parties and games galore.  Oh and some awesome Halloween costumes!

Backwards Day

Submitted by susan.bird on

Today students wore their clothing backwards to remind them to turn their backs on drugs.  Also, the PTA started getting our banner up.  We want to thank the PTA for all their hard work on Ribbon Week.

Don't forget to wear your costume tomorrow so we can scare away drugs!

Pajama Day

Submitted by susan.bird on

We are celebrating Red Ribbon week this week.  Today's theme is that Drug's are a nightmare.  To remind us of this we got to wear our favorite pajamas!  Other activities that the PTA is sponsering this week is that students are looking for red ribbons hidden around the school, we are making a drug free banner with a pledge from each students and much more.  Tomorrow's dress up is crazy hair or hat day.
