One of our new instructional technicians is Mrs. Mandy Knoebel. Mrs. Knoebel works with students of all ages, helps in our lunch room and at recess. We have the best tech around and Mrs. Knoebel is one of those amazing people.

Who was your favorite teacher and why? “My third grade teacher because after I invited her to my birthday party, she came! She also brought me an ice cream sundae!”
If you were given $1000 - what would you buy? An airplane ticket to Europe
What song would you sing at Karaoke night? Don’t go breaking my heart (duet with my husband)
Who or what inspires you? Our planet... and Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Share a memory of school:
I went to elementary school in Oklahoma. Every year, we would re-enact the Oklahoma Land Run. We would make covered wagons, wear pioneer clothes, and race to stake our land (which, in our reenactment, was actually a dessert). One year, my teacher asked me to be an Oklahoma Sooner, which is someone who snuck out to stake her land before the race began. I got to be the first one to pick a treat! My friends were so envious
What is your favorite thing to teach every year? Expression in reading and grammar in writing. It’s the best!
What is the best thing about your job? Getting to know the students
Did you know that Mrs. Knoebel can beat the third grade girls in a handstand contest!
