Mrs. Hallie Owens is one of our Special Education Technicians. We are grateful for all she does to help our students to be their best. We are lucky to have Mrs. Owens in our Brookside family.

Who is a favorite teacher and why? Mrs. Huff - Kindergarten. I don’t remember why but I still keep in touch with her nearly 40 years later.

What song would you sing at Karaoke night? Let’s Hear It for the Boy
Who or what inspires you? Those that give of themselves.
Share a memory of school: Making it on the dean’s list in college. It didn’t happen until I was 28.
Favorite thing to teach every year? Reading.
Best thing about your job? Seeing the kids in my class smile.
What else should we know about Mrs. Owens? When I am not serving your students you will find me cheering on my two competitive gymnast children.
