Our spotlight for this Tuesday is one of our fabulous sixth grade teachers - Mrs. Crissy Reini. This is Mrs. Reini’s second here at Brookside and she does an amazing job with those sixth grade students with teaching the core and getting them ready for the junior high. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Reini here at Brookside.

Who is your favorite teacher and why? Ms. Rogers believed that I could succeed in math even when I didn’t feel that I could do it. She spent the time to guide and help me, even talked me through retakes of assignments so I could better grasp the concept.
If you were given $1000 - what would you buy? A really good steak and some books
What song would you sing at Karaoke night? You belong with me- T Swift
Who or what inspires you? Mallory Weggeman
Memory of school or two of school:
- I remember I couldn’t let myself read a book before my homework was done otherwise I would sit for hours and read.
- I also remember cracking my head open on the monkey bars a day after Halloween.
What is your favorite thing to teach every year? If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.
What is the best thing about your job? Getting up everyday and interacting with/ helping youth.
