State Floats

Submitted by susan.bird on

It's a annual event in fifth grade.  The students create their own state floats.  Through the months of March and April, we are working hard to learn the states and capitals.  To go along with that, fifth graders pick a state, research and learn all about the slate and make a float.  Out students did amazing!

Submitted by susan.bird on
Nebo is partnering with Tabitha’s Way for a new event called Read & Feed.

The purpose of this event is to encourage children to continue to read during the summer and to educate families facing food insecurity regarding food resources available to them and their children while they are not attending school. Our goal is to gather 10,000 gently used books that children can take home with them and keep to read during the summer.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Submitted by susan.bird on

This past week was teacher appreciation week and we have felt loved and spoiled.  Everyday was a little token of appreciation, a treat and a lot of love.  We, at Brookside, want to thank our amazing PTA, especially Teralyn Kilpack, for this fabulous week and for all the work she (and others) put in. We want to give a shout out to everyone who donated and provide a little bit of love to the staff here.
