In December, Mrs. Beckert talked with the students about gratitude in our Tiger Pride Assembly. During that assembly, she gave the students a gratitude challenge. The first and second graders drew a picture about what they were thankful for. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders wrote three things they were grateful for each school day of January. It’s teacher Tuesday and we are spotlighting Miss Kelly White. Miss White is one of our great fifth grade teachers. She moved from third grade to teach fifth grade this year. She is creative, fun, understanding and an excellent teacher. We love having Miss White at Brookside.
On the weekend, Miss White loves to read, relax, or watch a movie.
Mrs. Crandell's students were innovative this week as they created engineering designs to try and keep ice a solid for 24 hours! They used their knowledge about thermal energy and insulators and conductors to come up with their creative inventions!
