The staff has spoken and this year’s Teacher of the Year for Brookside Elementary is Mrs. LeAnn Andrews.  Mrs. Andrews is an amazing teacher, friend and mentor. She has been involved in so much over the years. She began teaching here at Brookside in 1994 and taught for four years.  She took a break for a few years before returning to Brookside and teaching fourth grade. She has been the 4th grade team leader, a PTA member, our computer specialist and has been on several committees to help improve both school and student experiences.  Mrs.

What do you love to do on the weekend? I love to chill with my family, watch movies, and catch up on stuff I didn't get done during the week.

Valentine's Day

Submitted by susan.bird on Tue, 02/18/2020 - 09:40

We had a great Valentine’s day on Friday.  There were a lot of class parties, Valentine boxes, cards and candy handed out and even a pinata in Mrs. Nielsen’s first grade class.  We want to thank all the room mothers and helpers that organized all the class parties. It was a fun day!
