Thank you to the Spring Creek Stake RS for arranging community volunteers to read with our students. They also donated some great non-fiction and fiction books to add to our classroom libraries. We are so grateful for the support and for helping us bring books and the love of reading to our students!

Celebrating 100 Days Smarter
Our first and second graders celebrated our 100th day of school. They dressed up as if they were 100 years old. They counted 100 treats. Sorted 100 different objects. They drew pictures of their older, more mature selves. They even made necklaces with 100 pieces of cereal. These students celebrated being 100 days smarter!
First Grade Learns about Sun Dials
Our wonderful first graders have been learning about how we can use the sun's position in the sky and shadows to tell time! They loved making their own sundials.

We had quite a few praise notes handed out this week. We have had a lot of student looking for good deeds to do and having really good behavior.
Lexie Stucki helped her teacher, Ryker Rouse was respectful, Ann Crawford, Thayne Stansfield and Nicole Andrade exercised perfect self control in an assembly, Paisley Burgess followed directions and completed her work in class, Serenity Reyes followed directions, raised her hand and completed classwork.
