Third graders were challenged to create a shape with a certain length and width using geo boards and then they had to calculate the perimeter. Some students even went one step further and also calculated the area.
Today’s spotlight is on one of our fantastic third grade teachers, Ms. MaryJenn Bradford. She is in her 35th year of teaching! She is an amazing friend, teammate, coworker and teacher.
Mrs. Mandy Knoebel is one of our amazing third grade teachers. She has been teaching for four years. Mandy is always positive, encouraging and fun to be around. She is a great teacher and her students love her. We love having Mrs. Knoebel here at Brookside.
Mrs.Bird’s first grade class had a fun week celebrating Dr. Seuss. The kids loved reading his books and doing activities after. On Friday we had a fun read-a-thon camp out to show our love of reading.

All Nebo schools will be open on the regular schedule for Monday, March 6, 2023. We truly appreciate the city, county, state, and district personnel for their diligent work in our recent storm across our district. Please remember that school closures are rare.
