Miss Bradford’s class just started their science unit on weather. Students made weather vanes, and are hoping for some windy weather to try them out. Nice job, guys!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Submitted by susan.bird on

The kindergartners went to the Bean Museum on Wednesday, January 12th. In a class at the auditorium there, we learned about animal habitats and what animals need. We then toured the museum. It was a lot of fun!

One Word Goals

Submitted by susan.bird on

When Miss Bird's fifth graders returned from Christmas break, they worked on setting a one word goal to help them make the second half of the school year the best it can be.  They worked through many words trying to decide what word would be the best for them.  After they chose their word, they wrote down two reasons why they wanted that word to be their goal.  Then, they came up with an action plan with three steps to help them achieve their one word goal.  As a reminder, they made bracelets with their word to remind them to work toward their goal.
