One Hundredth Day of School
The first graders had lots of fun during the 100th day of school! They were up to dress up like they were 100 years old. They counted 100 things. They built towers, wore 100 day glasses and so much more fun!
Teacher Tuesday - Mrs. Lois Hardy
Mrs. Lois Hardy is our new instructional coach this year. She teaches the teachers and the students. Mrs. Hardy has been working in this position for the past four years. We are excited to have Lois join our faculty.
Teacher Tuesday - Mrs. Andrea Mounteer
Our new fourth grade teacher is Mrs. Andrea Mounteer. Andrea has been teaching for 12 years, but this is her first time teaching fourth grade. We are so excited to have Mrs. Mounteer join our Brookside family.
Outstanding Classified Employee - Mrs. Val Seitz
Each year, Craig Harvey, agency hand out an Outstanding Classified Employee award. Our school votes and this year the award goes to Mrs. Val Seitz.
mrs. Seitz is one of our skill building technicians. she does everything from working with kids to helping teachers with copies or projects or whatever they may need. She always has a smile and a hug for every student that walks into her classroom. She works hard she makes sure that teachers are taken care of, and that students feel loved and cared for.
Congratulations. Mrs. Seitz! You deserve this.
Place Value in First Grade
